Your care should be shaped by what you need, not by what an insurance plan allows. That is why we work outside of insurance networks and keep every treatment decision between you and your therapist.
Rates vary by clinician based on experience and specialty. Some clinicians utilize longer session times to address more complex treatment goals. Your therapist will confirm your rate before your first session.
We keep a credit card on file, stored securely and encrypted in our electronic records system, and charge it on the date of service. FSA and HSA cards are accepted and can be used as the card on file.
We ask for 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
We do not participate in any insurance plans. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be able to receive partial reimbursement for your sessions. On request, we provide a monthly Superbill, an itemized statement with the information your insurance company needs to process an out-of-network claim. We strongly encourage you to advocate for your out-of-network needs with your insurance carrier, especially if you cannot find a provider in your network that offers the level of care we provide at Curo. Ask to speak with a patient advocate or case manager to discuss your coverage options.
We are not covered providers for Medicare or Tricare. Clients with these plans are not eligible for reimbursement.
Before you submit a claim, a short call to your insurance company can tell you what to expect. Ask:
One page you can keep by the phone.
A note on high-deductible plans: Even if you do not expect reimbursement, submitting claims applies your sessions toward your deductible. That can make later claims eligible for reimbursement within the same year.
Under the federal No Surprises Act, clients who are not using insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of care. We provide this in writing before your first session and on request at any time. Questions? Visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or contact us.
Contact us and we will walk you through it. We want you to get the care you deserve and we will do what we can to support you accessing the resources you need.
